Sunday inspiration

Happy Sunday, friends.

Today's inspiration comes from artist Scott Wade, who creates what he calls "dirty car art." Wade doesn't merely write "wash me" in the dirt; instead, he creates intricate, detailed, and quite beautiful designs, as you can see in the following video. You can find out more about Wade and his work at his Web site, found here. Enjoy!

Wishing you all a creative and inspirational Sunday. ☺

  2. That is fascinating, Dana. Of course my first thought was all that work and what happens if there is a rain shower? Wonder if the almond oil would help preserve it for a bit?

    1. I'm not sure. I do like what he has to say about his work being as fleeting as our lives are.

      Happy Sunday. ☺

  6. LOL, I could have used that guy two days ago when I returned from a long trip. I couldn't tell what color my car was and it certainly wasn't pretty.

    1. Wouldn't that be great? I'd love not to have to wash my car!

  7. Pretty sure I'd never want to wash my window again if he drew like that on it. :)

  8. Cool. Now I don't feel an urgent need to wash my car. I'll just draw pretty pictures on it and ride down the road. ;)

    1. There you are! I've missed you too. It's good to see you back here. :) We definitely need a catch-up chat!

A couple of years ago, Bravo aired two seasons of an art competition: Work of Art: The Next Great Artist. It was a great show!
