Oh, Monday morning...

Seventy degrees yesterday, but today
it looks—and feels—like snow. Brr.
Happy Monday!

Are you ready for the week? I don't have any major plans for today. I'm taking my daughter to the library this morning, and then I hope to get some writing done during naptime. We'll see how that goes. If there's one thing I've learned since having kids, it's this: I'm not the one in control of my life. ☺

So what are your plans for the day? To paraphrase The Mamas & The Papas, I hope Monday is all you hope it will be! Have a great day!

Lyrics here.

  1. Just doing a little blogging, a little transcribing of old documents, a little cleaning up of my room over the garage - not quite a Manic Monday, more of a Mamas and Papas Monday.

Dana, I've nominated you for the Wonder Team Member Readership Award. Come get it! http://jollettetc.blogspot.com/2013/01/awards-shmwards-im-no-jody-foster.html

  6. Monday is not my favorite day of the week, which is probably why I don't work them. :) Great Song btw, it has been awhile since I heard it.

  7. Hope you had fun at the library and you get some writing time. I sat in the dentist's chair for a while this morning. At least I got some reading done!

    1. Glad you got some reading done!

I added to my ever-growing TBR stack this morning. I haven't gotten a chance to write yet, but I'm hoping I can get some done tonight—fingers crossed!

  9. I also went to the Dentist this morning. Happy New Year! haha.

And today we submitted our book for format review before self-publication! Hopefully in a week we'll be ready to go :)

So far a pretty good day.

  11. Monday is over - YAY! - NOT my favorite day of the week, particularly in January. The work day was extended by three hours for a high level and intense financial planning sort of meeting - dense stuff but better on a Monday than on a Thursday. But, on the good side, although it was cold (high 40's) it was bright and sunny! YAY! and tomorrow at noontime, we will be half way through January!
