Out of the mouths of babes

Two days ago, my three-year-old daughter and I were reading books on the couch. I was about halfway through our third book when she put her hand down on the middle of the page, turned to me, and said, "Um, can you pause that book?"

I smiled and said I could, but inside I was cracking up! You don't think this means she watches too many princess DVDs...do you? ☺

Wishing you a Thursday full of smiles.

  6. That's so cute! My son asks to pause things when he has to stop doing something and go to the bathroom.

  9. Amazing what kids say. My daughter saw a box which contained my vinyl LPs. She wondered why I kept a box of big black coasters in the cellar.

  10. Very cute!
When my son was little he was reading about Eisenhower and he read, "D dot D dot Eisenhower"....and that was 15 years ago...technology and our kids!
