Happy Sunday!
How's your weekend been so far? After a long day yesterday—six hours of car travel and a visit with my in-laws—I'm back home and ready to relax.
Today's inspiration is something a little unusual: a short video about a man who can draw perfect circles freehand. I find this fascinating! No matter how much I were to practice, I doubt I could draw like this. How about you? Have you ever tried?
Enjoy your day!
For some reason when i was a child it was said if you could draw a perfect circle you were insane. Wow what a steady hand.
ReplyDeleteHuh. I'd never heard that before.
DeleteWonder what makes that possible?? Crazy, huh? Glad you are back home and getting a chance to relax, Dana! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am too. :)
DeleteNever tried. May just have lost the rest of my Sunday to attempting it though...
ReplyDeleteHaha! Let me know how you do. :)
DeleteI take it that guy is a teacher. How funny to show his class his special talent! I can't say I've ever tried, but I think I'll go find myself a blackboard. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I wish I were still teaching so I'd have access to one. :)
DeleteI can't draw a straight line with a ruler, so I envy any sort of artistic talent. I also love how respectful and interested his students are. Pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI just found your comment. For some reason, it had gone to my spam box.
DeleteI'm the same as you—I can't draw and admire all those who can. I agree: his students are very respectful. That's a nice thing to see when a lot of the stories I read say the opposite about "today's kids."
I think we've already established that I can't even draw boobs with an Etch-A-Sketch so this man's ability is breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteHe'd be a great teacher to have.
I agree: he would.
DeleteI've been cleaning, sorting, and organizing. Karma has been sleeping. And I am amazed at his ability!! Wow!
ReplyDeleteHope it continues to be a good weekend. :):)
Thanks, Rita. I hope yours is great, too!
DeleteI agree. :)
ReplyDeleteBefore he got around to finally DRAWING, all I could think about were those days of washing blackboards and the chalk trays full of chalk dust. Boy, that took me back~ But yeah, that was an amazing circle.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in elementary school, we always fought over who got to clean the blackboard. :)
Deletemy daughter is a math major and she sent this video to me...pretty remarkable..
ReplyDeleteHope the car ride and visit went well! And whoah, I can't even manage a straight line. That's pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteThanks. We had a lot of fun. Even the car ride with two kids went well. :)
Deletehappy labor day
ReplyDeleteSame to you, Adam. :)
Deletestayed home and chilled =)
ReplyDeletehope you had a nice time!
