♥ My new book idea. It came to me over the weekend. I can't wait to get started!
♥ Procrastination. Hmm, I guess it probably is my fault that my son is out of underwear again...
♥ Avocados. I really want one.
♥ The dreaded treadmill. I hate the thing, but I promised myself I'd start using it again, beginning today. Think of me.
♥ Kindergarten. My five-year-old starts on Thursday. *cry*
♥ Hair. I wish I had this style again.
♥ This song. I love the eighties!
♥ Greek. I just started watching it on Netflix. Fun show!
♥ This book. So far, I'm loving it.

What are you thinking about today?
Yay for new book ideas!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am SO with you on the exercise thing - I just did Zumba today - maybe we can motivate each other lol!
That sounds like a great idea! I've already lost the little ambition I had when I woke up. :)
DeleteGrapes - why are they packed in huge plastic bags forcing me to buy 3-4 pounds at a time when I just want a SMALL bunch?
ReplyDeleteOK, so I'm thinking about my blog and what to write next. I like when I have a theme going but right now - eh, nada.
I wait until no one's looking, and then I move some of the grapes to another bag. Bad, I know...
DeleteGood luck coming up with an idea. :)
how cool you have your new book idea!! i will be thinking of you and on thursday----that book sounds great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynn. I appreciate the good thoughts. :)
DeleteOh, I love having a new book idea. But if I did, I'd probably procrastinate on doing anything about it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a procrastinator too, but this time I have an accountability partner to make sure I get going. :)
DeleteSimilar to your grapes issue, I feel like the soft foil tops to my yogurts are always busted open by heavier items in the grocery bags. Blurgh!
ReplyDeleteYay for new book ideas :)
That's happened to me before, too. And somehow, my pears always seem to get squashed...
DeleteThanks. I'm looking forward to seeing where the idea takes me.
Packing groceries is a lost art. Smashed grapes, cracked eggs... These days you're better off packing your own.
ReplyDeleteNew book idea! Whoohoo! Fantastic. :)
I felt very old watching the video. So old that I didn't get half the references. Did you know you had such ancient people following your blog? ROFL!
You are not old! :)
DeleteI should get my husband to pack the groceries since I'm the one who always seems to have to unpack them. ;)
What random thoughts you have!
ReplyDeleteGood news about the novel idea! Bad news about the underwear (I thought I was the only person who did that - I'm sort of relieved right now lol)
Haha! Yes, my thoughts usually are pretty random. :)
DeleteAbout the novel idea: Thanks!
About the underwear: I have to say that I'm relieved, too. It's nice not to be the only one. :)
I had to wear my socks inside out last week because I forgot to do my laundry. :-/
ReplyDeleteHappy news about the book idea though. :-)
Haha! Been there...
DeleteThanks!
I'm thinking I need more sleep. And yes, why do grapes and bread always end up pon the bottom.
ReplyDeleteI nomintated you for the Inspiring blogger award because you're so awesome! You can find it at Mama Diaries.
Sleep... I've forgotten what that's like. ;)
DeleteThanks so much for the award! It was sweet of you to think of me.
Oh, a book idea sounds big! Congrats on that and I hope the words just pour out of you!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteLove your random thoughts - if I had a book idea (and I do have lots) it would about what book to read! Can't imagine WRITING one!
ReplyDeleteas fo the 80's -- I was buried in newly wed bliss and babies then - did the 80's even happen?
three random thoughts from me:
if I take advil PM tonight to get a decent break from muscular/skeletal pain, will I be able to get up in the morning?
What slogan can I use to get middle school kids to wear helmets while biking or skateboarding? Death isn't cool?
Where's the cake? the homemade chocolate cake? that one.
Love your thoughts! I can relate to the cake one. ;)
DeleteI always get the BREAD under the cans. Goofy. I hate the treadmill too, I hate working out in general. It seems so futile. My only consolation is that I'd be in worse shape if I didn't work out. I've trade you an avocado for a mango. :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like we're a lot alike. :)
Deleteyou're so funny! grapes & avocados!
ReplyDeletei want to hear your book idea & a review on what you've read! i love hearing my friends' opinions on books!
and yay 80s!
What can I say? I love fruit! ;)
DeleteI'm still pondering the book idea. There's a crucial part I need to figure out before I share. :)
good luck starting your new book...if you don't procrastinate!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks!
DeleteLove the hair style! But unless you have stick-straight hair it's hard to keep up with since it requires so much straightening. There is a little girl at the boys' karate school who has that cut and she is adorable with it. I always wonder if she does it herself or if the mom styles it because it's always perfect and never messes up!
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by your book idea!
Luckily—or unluckily, depending on how I feel any given day—my hair is straighter than straight. I had that style for years (and loved it), but I let a stylist talk me out of it about a year ago. When I get my hair cut in a couple of weeks, I'm going back to that bob!
DeleteI had to put my book idea aside this week because of all the school stuff, but I'm hoping to do some work on it soon. :)
