Out of the mouths of babes

Two days ago, my three-year-old daughter and I were reading books on the couch. I was about halfway through our third book when she put her hand down on the middle of the page, turned to me, and said, "Um, can you pause that book?"

I smiled and said I could, but inside I was cracking up! You don't think this means she watches too many princess DVDs...do you? ☺

Wishing you a Thursday full of smiles.

    1. I am. I bought special journals just to write down the cute things the kids say and do. :)

  5. That's so cute! My son asks to pause things when he has to stop doing something and go to the bathroom.

  8. Amazing what kids say. My daughter saw a box which contained my vinyl LPs. She wondered why I kept a box of big black coasters in the cellar.

  9. Very cute!
When my son was little he was reading about Eisenhower and he read, "D dot D dot Eisenhower"....and that was 15 years ago...technology and our kids!
