My husband insisted it was a tulip, but you could very well be right. Thanks.

    2. Hard to say at that stage, the daffs usually come up first and tulips later. Mind you it may well be different over the pond.

    1. It's a hopeful one, too! Today's forecast is calling for snow, but it's sunny right now, so my fingers are crossed that the white stuff stays away. :)

  5. Yay! That's what I think it means! Woke up to a new dusting of snow, and intermittent snow showers all day long. But... the robins have returned so it won't be long! Nice pic, Dana :-)

    1. Thanks, Teresa. I'm still waiting for those robins. I hope they hurry. :)

    1. I'm with you. My husband's former wife had planted tulips in that spot years ago, and despite my husband's best efforts to rip every last one of them out of the ground, a few come up from time to time. I hope it's a tulip since my kids have made them my favorite flower. We shall see. :)

  16. Spring is sprouting! We went for a family evening walk yesterday, and I pointed out the flowers that are sprouting to my son. I asked him what colors he thinks they might be (and most will obviously be yellow), but he listed off a rainbow of colors and was very excited. He wanted them to "pop" open now!

    1. We got a tiny bit of snow here today, and I kept hoping it would stop so this little flower will have a chance. Come on, spring!

    3. As much as I love springtime, I'll always choose the bookstore. Hope you found something good. :)
