Wordless Wednesday

Okay, I have to say a few words. ☺

My kindergartner son painted this picture in art class, and I'm proud to say it was one of the works chosen to be featured at a schoolwide art exhibit last week. People keep telling me I have an artist on my hands. I think so, too—but he certainly didn't get it from me!

Wishing you all a beautiful—and colorful!—Wednesday. ☺

    1. Thanks, Teresa. The funny thing is he was never crazy about art until he started school.

  10. If only they stayed that way, trouble is they grow up and find other things to do. Enjoy him while he is like that they change.
Dana the photo I posted today was for you as you said you needed some spring.

I just saw your photo—lovely! Thanks for that taste of spring. :)

That flower I posted about last week is now surrounded by snow. I'm crossing my fingers that it'll still make it.

  13. That is a great picture. Especially for a 5 year old. I know a 66 year old that could not do that good :)
Hope it gets framed and hung in a very conspicuous spot :)

We haven't gotten the painting back yet, but when we do, I will definitely frame it.

  24. I do believe that children make the best - the VERY BEST - artists! As Picasso said: "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up."

  26. I concur with Katy. Frame that thing! I framed a couple "works of art" created by my own girls as little artists. They are still displayed in my home. People are always surprised that they were done by children.

  34. Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm doing the A-Z Blogger Challenge this year so I thought that I should introduce myself.

When I was little, I drew my picture of my dad in a truck. It looked like a dinosaur was eating him. Your son, however, has some pretty awesome talent. That's better than any art work I've ever done and I'm 19 years old.
