Friday fun: Get your earworms here!

The earworms have invaded my brain!

Ever since I wrote Wednesday's post about some of my favorite 1980's television shows, I've had TV theme songs stuck in my mind on a seemingly endless loop. And it's not just the shows I featured. No, it's like writing about TV invited all sorts of theme songs into my brain, where they play themselves over and over and over again, and nothing--nothing--stops them.

And so for a bit of fun on Blog Me MAYbe's "May I share something funny?" Friday, I thought I'd share these songs with you. So here they are, the six earworms now eating their way through my brain.

You're welcome! ;)

All in the Family (1968-1979):

The Facts of Life (1979-1988):

The Golden Girls (1985-1992):

Roseanne (1988-1997):

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990-1996):

F•R•I•E•N•D•S (1994-2004):

Have you ever had a TV theme song stuck in your head? Do you have one right now? ;)

Have you ever seen the episode of Spongebob where he has a song stuck in his head and it's actually and earworm? No joke!

  6. This took some time to get these theme songs researched and posted here; too cute! So funny but the first one that popped into my head was the theme song from Barney (dinosaur). Now I'll have that stuck in my head today :)

have a delightful day and weekend ahead!

  7. I loved Facts of Life. If my area ran reruns, I'd be there! I hate getting a song stuck in my head. That's when I find myself saying, STOP SINGING!

  8. My son has a iPhone app that plays a tv show song and you guess it. I won and he was so shocked. duh! I am a child of the 70's and 80's. I told my husband once that I loved the show Friends so much that I wished we could call them and see what they were doing. He informed me that were not real people (HA!) They were in our home every week for how many years and then they just left us!!

  9. The only one I know these is Friends - and I love it and the show. I looked up Chandler's address once and was going to send him a letter - but never did lol...

  10. For me, the most recent song I hear gets super-glued in my head until I hear the next song. When my kids were growing up, they loved to mess with me by deliberately playing a song they knew I hated. LOVE all the clips you chose.

  16. I remember when 'Friends' premiered. I thought all those yuppy clods were annoying. I remember crabbing that one day they'll all be old and not so hip. Now, Courtney Cox is on "Cougartown." Youth has passed her and her 'friends' by.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't look out of place on 'The Golden Girls.'
    Except I'm not a woman.
    Still...damn!
On the other hand, Carroll O'Connor is dead.
So I have that going for me.
    For now.
