The past couple of days have been a little difficult for me, but you readers have been great and have cheered me up immensely. Today I want to share two videos with you to express my appreciation for your kindness. The first is about true friendship (in this case, a sweet video about tortoise helping tortoise), and the second is a touching and inspiring video about motherhood. I hope you enjoy them!
You all are the absolute best! Thank you for helping me when I was down and for all your advice about preschool graduation and motherhood. ♥
I'm such a sap - that tortoise video is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI thought so, too! :)
DeleteHope there are much better days ahead!! Life is good!
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right, Judy! Thanks. :)
DeleteI cried over the tortoise video. Nicholas and Randy and behind me staring at me like I am a loon.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a sweet video. :)
DeleteWhat would we ALL do without our amazing bloggee friends?? I am now calling you all MBBF's (my best bloggee friends). Dana things work out good for us all when we can have a little light or sunshine in our lives and those closest to us forget to shine upon us sometimes so to have our bloggee pals......priceless!!!
ReplyDeleteSending you sunshine & love dear friend thanks for the vidoes :}
Thanks so much, Janice! I'm so grateful for you all. :)
DeleteI love the messages from mothers to mothers. Each message is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI loved it, too! It's good to know that other mothers have felt the same things I do.
DeleteBoth were great videos!
ReplyDeleteYou can never fail by letting somebody know you love them...whether a fallen comrade or your children or that diaper changing spouse. ;)
How true! :)
DeleteBig hugs Dana, I know how quickly they grow up and how emotional each step is.
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks, Vivian. :)
DeleteWhat wonderful videos! We moms have to stick together and give one another support. :)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten so much support from so many bloggers, both male and female. I'm grateful. :)
DeleteThat applies to dads too.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteThose were great videos - sweet tortoises, and what fabulous messages for new moms. Hugs to you, blog friend!
ReplyDeleteI shouldn't watch videos like this when I'm pregnant, the mothers video got me all choked up (who am I kidding, I'd cry anyway). It's hard, isn't it, we want them to grow up, but at the same time, it would be so wonderful if they would stay small forever. I have to go hug my boys now.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly how I feel. Their growing up is so bittersweet. *hugs* to you.
DeleteWhat a sweet tortoise video!
ReplyDeleteMuch better than that one of two turtles boinking each other.
I really think that guy at "Adult World" ripped me off.
Haha! Guess so!
DeleteI love the turtle one! Both are great! Hope you are doing better!
ReplyDeleteI am. Thanks! :)
DeleteCute videos! My kids are adults. The one thing I learned is no matter how old they get, parenting never stops. Mine always call for advice. (and money :)
ReplyDeleteOnce a mom or dad, always a mom or dad. :)
DeleteThose videos were perfect. Is that turtle one for real?! I never thought I'd get choked up over watching a turtle! ;)
ReplyDeleteLoved the mom video. Lots of great advice. I'd add 'pray'. There's always hope! :)
As far as I know it is, although I have no idea how the tortoise ended up on its back in the first place.
DeleteLove your additions to the mom video!
The turtles were awesome...if we could all give our friends a nudge when needed the world would be a better place :)
ReplyDeleteIndeed! :)
DeleteAwwww.. I loved those turtles. Lean on me is always a great song too! *hugs* glad to hear you are feelings better.
ReplyDeleteAndrea
Thanks, Andrea! :)
DeleteWe saw this video on the moms at church last year's mother's day (2011); great advice for new moms to take to heart :)
ReplyDeletethat turtle video; so cute!! I was rooting for the turtle saying "you can do it, you can do it" :)
it is such a neat world of community we have here through blogs though we may never meet face to face :)
I hope you guys do something fun and exciting this weekend :)
betty
Thanks, Betty. :)
DeleteDaddy wants to barbecue this weekend, so who am I to stop him? LOL The kids and I are going to make him some gifts and cards. It should be a fun weekend. :)
The tortoise video was fab! Although it would have been nice if the one had given the other a little 'thank you' or something! I'm so sorry it's been a hard time for you. Watching our kids grow up can be so difficult. All we can do is relish every moment with them and do everything we can so that you can always look back and be proud of how you parented. I don't always do this, but God knows I try. And I know you do too!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yes, a thank-you would have been nice!
DeleteThanks for the vote of confidence. Believe me, I have a lot of bad days when I feel like the worst mother in the world. I have a hard time forgiving myself, actually, but I'm trying to get up each morning with the attitude that each day is a new day and a clean slate. :)
