Six-word Saturday

Feeling lucky and blessed beyond measure.

Thanksgiving reminded me of all that I have to be thankful for.
I want to make every day a Thanksgiving celebration!

Wishing you all a beautiful weekend!

  1. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, but it seems like a lovely way to remind ourselves of all the things we have to be thankful for and a marvelous excuse to spend quality time with family and eat lots of food :-)

  14. I agree, Dana! I have always said thanksgiving is a state of being and we need no special day for that. Nonetheless, Happy Thanksgiving!

  15. I have so much to be thankful for. This Thanksgiving, I felt so self-absorbed for forgetting how blessed I am every other day of the year. I agree with Ruth. Thanksgiving is a state of being. Happiness is fleeting, but joy is foundational. Joy springs from a spirit of gratitude and contentment with what I have rather than what I haven't got. I've decided to focus in the coming year on what is real and important and stop agonizing over the small stuff.

    1. I'd like to join you in doing this. I'm notorious for fretting about the little things. I forget to look at the big picture and see just how blessed I am. Good luck to both of us as we focus on being grateful!

  21. I think that's a fabulous idea. I made a real effort on Thanksgiving day to express a more positive attitude. It's something I've been lacking lately. I think I'll try to keep that up.

    Thanks for playing 6WS!
