Yay! That's what I think it means! Woke up to a new dusting of snow, and intermittent snow showers all day long. But... the robins have returned so it won't be long! Nice pic, Dana :-)
I'm with you. My husband's former wife had planted tulips in that spot years ago, and despite my husband's best efforts to rip every last one of them out of the ground, a few come up from time to time. I hope it's a tulip since my kids have made them my favorite flower. We shall see. :)
Spring is sprouting! We went for a family evening walk yesterday, and I pointed out the flowers that are sprouting to my son. I asked him what colors he thinks they might be (and most will obviously be yellow), but he listed off a rainbow of colors and was very excited. He wanted them to "pop" open now!
It could well be and they look like daffodils.
ReplyDeleteMy fingers are crossed. ☺
DeleteMy husband insisted it was a tulip, but you could very well be right. Thanks.
Hard to say at that stage, the daffs usually come up first and tulips later. Mind you it may well be different over the pond.
DeleteIt will be fun to see what blooms. I'll keep an eye on it. :)
DeleteI hope so!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSame here. :)
DeleteThat's a happy picture.
ReplyDeleteIt's a hopeful one, too! Today's forecast is calling for snow, but it's sunny right now, so my fingers are crossed that the white stuff stays away. :)
DeleteThere is no more beautiful a sight than daffodils coming up through the ground.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the blooms!
DeleteLucky! We're still working on the snow. :(
ReplyDeleteIt's actually sunny here right now with a few snowflakes coming down. Weird weather. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Teresa. I'm still waiting for those robins. I hope they hurry. :)
DeleteMy daffodils are in full bloom. Those look more like either tulips or hyacinth.

DeleteYes,it is.... no doubt...!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I'm already enjoying the spring sun and nice weather while taking long walks!
DeleteMurthy: I can't wait!
DeleteAdriana: I envy you. I'm looking forward to doing the same. :)
DeleteWell I've been outside in shorts for the past four days so I'm assuming it's headed our way finally!
ReplyDeleteShorts! Lucky you. We're still wearing winter coats, hats, and mittens. Soon, I think. Soon. :)
DeleteHappy Wednesday!
I'm going to print out that photo and stick it to my window - that's the only way I'm getting to see daffodils any time soon :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I hope you get your warm weather soon. :)

I asked him what colors he thinks they might be (and most will obviously be yellow), but he listed off a rainbow of colors and was very excited. He wanted them to "pop" open now!
ReplyDeleteAw, that's so sweet! Life is so much better when we see it through the eyes of our kids. :)
DeleteSome tiny Jonquils have flowered in a tub in my garden - and then it snowed on them yesterday! Poor things! Spring MUST be here soon!
ReplyDeleteWe got a tiny bit of snow here today, and I kept hoping it would stop so this little flower will have a chance. Come on, spring!
DeleteSnowing here now, but I like to think spring will be here soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm crossing my fingers. ☺
DeleteWhere I live, last weekend was spring-like. I even thought about working outside, but then we went to the bookshoppe instead. That was fun as well.
DeleteAs much as I love springtime, I'll always choose the bookstore. Hope you found something good. :)
DeleteA perfect picture of HOPE!
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
DeleteIt's not too late to share at WW Bloggers at www.wordlesswednesdaybloggers.blogspot.com. Hope you'll join us!
ReplyDelete:)
Deletespring is very near
ReplyDeleteI'm very happy about that. ☺
DeleteLucky you for actually being able to see the ground, let alone spring bulbs. We're still snow-covered here. Thanks for visiting yesterday!
ReplyDeleteI woke up this morning to light snow, so now the ground is dusted again. Such strange weather!
Deletewish you the same too, though a lil late :P
ReplyDeletewish you the same, though a lil late...
ReplyDeletemaybe come to our place and you will be certainly warm :P
I'll take spring or fall weather anytime, but I can do without the extremes of winter and summer. :)
DeleteHave a great day!
unfortunately, the first sprouts usually die in the last freeze... dont be first to the party! arrive fashionably late!
ReplyDeleteThat's good advice. Now who's going to tell the sprouts?
Deletespring is definitely on its way!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so!
DeleteSure looks like spring to me - and I'm a tad jealous!
ReplyDeleteDon't be too jealous—it snowed here last night. It's only a dusting, but I hope the flower survives.
DeleteHave a great day!
yey...spring is here!!!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so!
