A dreadful, appalling, hideous, horrible day, that is.
The kids ran me ragged today, and although I'd like to post something worthwhile and interesting, my brain is just too fried tonight. I won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that today was a long, trying, tiring day, during which I was forced to confiscate library books and withhold snacks, among other things.
Tomorrow will be better, right?
Yes. Yes it will. And in the mean time, remind yourself that one day you'll have grandchildren to spoil and then hand back to YOUR kids for THEM to deal with! ;)
ReplyDeleteWith little ones, you will have many of those days. Now I get them once in a while, but more often than not, it's my own fault from procrastination and rushing around!
ReplyDeleteIt always gets better.
They say enjoy them while they're young. I did, it flew, and I'm glad I am where I am. I like this stage much better - but I have to be meaner. I think the "past puberty" phase will be the best =) (Sorry for rambling...)
Charlotte: Good point about the grandkids!
ReplyDeleteTara: You're not rambling. I love to read what you have to say about kids! You always give me something to think about. :)
thanks, Dana!
