I miss the lilacs they are beautiful, I dont see many in Vegas, hope you have time to stop by this week and join in the WW fun! Oh My Heartsie WW" w/Linky
Lovely, lovely shot and quote! Lilacs are so fragrant. About 2 or 3 years ago, I had to cut mine back and this spring a few flowers appeared. I was so glad they came back. I knew it would take a few years for them to do this, but still it was an awe moment. :) Thanks for hopping by this morning. Have a happy WW!
We had some lilac bushes when I was growing up, and since no one pruned them, they turned into trees! Still, it was great seeing (and smelling) those beautiful flowers each year. :)
Glad yours have come back. What a wonderful sight that must have been!
That's too bad. The one in the picture actually belongs to my neighbor, but my daughter and I are trying to convince my husband that we need one, too! ;)
Those are gorgeous! My boss was making corsages at the restaurant last night. I think those would have been the last, needed touch, to make them perfect.
Beautiful! My lilacs are just starting to bloom. We have a bush under the window of our master bedroom and my son's. The whole house smells like them while they're blooming.
Lovely quote with gorgeous photo. Perfect! Happy Wednesday, Dana:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Melgie. I hope you're having a great day!
DeleteGorgeous! Wish I could smell those lilacs!
ReplyDeleteThey smell heavenly! My daughter had never smelled them before, and now she wants us to get our own lilac bush. (This one belongs to our neighbor.) :)
