Happy Thursday!
I just wanted to give you all a quick update on my husband. The surgery went well, and thankfully, he's not having too much pain. My daughter and I will be bringing him home around noon today, and I'm hoping to learn more about his operation then. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers.
In other news, I'm not sure yet if I'll be posting my "Friday fun" tomorrow or not. Hopefully, I'll have time to work on it, but I'm not quite sure what today will bring. We shall see... ☺
Wishing you all a wonderful Thursday.
Thanks for the update and glad to know all went well.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, he had some complications with his leg. He's home now, although much later than we'd thought. Still, we're grateful. :)
DeleteI was just thinking about you, so I'm glad to read this. Don't worry about Friday Fun -- you deserve a break to have your own Friday Fun with the family home together.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wendy. ☺
DeleteHappy Thursday to you too Dana! Hope the recovery goes well.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I do, too. I think it'll be hard for him to do nothing that long...
DeleteGood news! Hang in there, and take care. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Madeline. :)
DeleteGlad to know it went well. Don't worry about Friday -- take care of yourself and your family. We'll be here when you get back :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rae. I had some time after the kids went to bed to work on my Friday fun post. It was a nice diversion. ☺
DeleteGlad to hear everything went well!
ReplyDeleteWe had a few complications after I posted this, but all's well now. Thanks!
DeleteSo glad to hear surgery went well. Now he needs some TLC and you need to take it easy as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how I'll balance it all, but I'll try. :) Thanks!

ReplyDeleteThanks. I did work on my Friday fun page tonight. It was a happy diversion from a long day. :)

ReplyDeleteGlad to know that the surgery went well. (Bear, being a bit slow, didn't even know there was surgery coming.) I hope your husband's recovery at home is medically "uneventful," and that he doesn't get under foot too much.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Bear hugs to all of you!
Thanks, Bear. LOL @ what you said about my husband getting underfoot. I know this house is going to seem too small for the two of us after a while!
DeleteSo glad to here that he is doing ok and coming home... prayers being answered! God's got this, as always! ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteSo true! Thanks. :)
DeleteGlad to hear that Dana..!!
ReplyDeleteThanks. We are, too. ☺

ReplyDeleteThat's definitely the hardest part! ;)

DeleteGlad it went well. Take care of the important stuff first.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I will, although it was such a long day that I craved the diversion of writing my Friday fun post. :)
Deletegood news about the lack of much pain. My mom felt so bad after waking up from her operation that she was so "mean" that we left he hospital and came back later.
ReplyDeleteLOL I completely understand. It's hard to be nice when you're feeling so bad.
DeleteSo glad to hear that things went well today!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna.
DeleteOh Dana thanks for taking the time to keep us posted. Yesterday I kept positive thoughts headed your way. So glad all went well. Take care of yourself- while taking care of everyone else! Big hugs to all! xoxo K
