This and that

Happy Thursday!

It's gray and rainy here—the perfect day to write!—and that's what I'll be doing when my daughter naps this afternoon. What are your plans?

I saw this sweet video this morning, and it warmed my heart. We should all be as kind as this little boy. Enjoy!

Wishing you all a wonderful Thursday. ☺

  1. Same here, Dana. It's look like its gonna rain anytime soon. No plans for today aside from being lazy in the couch watching tv. The video is so touching! Love it:)

      Glad you liked the video.

  2. That was so precious. I'm planning to write too. The goal is to finish a first draft of a short piece I've been working on for awhile.

    1. He really is! I need to show this video to my kids; maybe then they won't feel the need to bicker so much.

      Thanks, Bill. Enjoy your Thursday!

  4. Love that video! So sweet and sincere.

Yep, I worked on my novel this morning as the rain came down and the wind blew - Tropical Storm Andrea is only brushing by us so we're lucky - fingers crossed!

    1. Congrats on getting some writing done! There's something about rain that really puts me in the mood to create. I also get inspired when I know that other people are working on their own writing. I feel like I'm a part of something big!

Wouldn't the world be great if we were all like that little boy. :)

  9. Adorable video! It's not gray here. It's positively storming. Heavy rain beating the glass and wind whipping the tress. That coupled with my metal roof, all I want to do is sleep.

    1. We had a metal roof when I was growing up, so I sympathize. Stay safe!

  11. We're not getting rain until late this afternoon or early evening. In the meantime, I'm trying to write too - blogs, not a novel.

  12. Now that was brotherly love and sisterly trust. The roles would have been reversed had that been my brother and me at that age. He was younger and shorter and before he was finished climbing over me he would have pulled my hair and claimed it was my fault.

A beautiful sunny day here today after a boomer rain storm last night. More predicted for this evening. Bring it on!!! We need it in Texas.

I'm writing about my Ancestor Brides and working on a scrapbook. So Yep, I'm being literally literary!!! Happy Thursday back attcha!!

  15. I thought today was Saturday until I read this. I mean, I knew what day it was to go to work on time, and then I got home and forgot. Maybe that means I need a nap. lol

    1. That happens to me, too. I often have to ask my six-year-old what day it is. LOL
