Happy Thursday, friends. ☺
How's your weather today? We're experiencing some pretty heavy winds here in Western New York, but thankfully they're nothing like the ones shown in this short video taken last December in Tortosa, Spain:
I'd hate to be driving anywhere near that truck.
Whatever your weather, I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!
wiiiiindy here too! hold onto your your small children!ReplyDelete
and it always seems to be ultra windy on trash night!
On the walk home this morning, my daughter kept yelling that she was being pushed back to the bus stop. :)Delete
I know what you mean about trash night. This wind started yesterday afternoon, and I had to run out and chase the recycle bins down the street.
Glad you are on board for this year's A to Z Challenge!ReplyDelete
And I've never seen a semi twist like that.
I'm looking forward to the Challenge. Now to think of a theme...Delete
About the semi: I haven't either—and I don't want to!
Oh boy! Stay safe, probably wiser to keep indoors.ReplyDelete
It's too bad I have to go out and get something for dinner. :(Delete
Ooh that looks awful! It's super windy here too, maybe it's a worldwide thing! I just took my dog for a walk, thought we were going to get blown away!ReplyDelete
It's really scary. I dread driving in it.Delete
Can you imagine how scary that must have been!! Stay safe today! I'm not one that likes a real windy day.ReplyDelete
We're supposed to be low 70s today :)
I know I would have been terrified. I'm grateful that our winds today aren't nearly as bad. I'm more worried about falling trees than falling semis. :)Delete
We had temperatures in the 60s yesterday, but today they're supposed to be in the 30s. That's quite the unwelcome change.
Truck must have been empty or carrying a light load. We are expecting some hrizontal rain later today/tomorrow. Oh joy more flooding.ReplyDelete
That sounds horrible. I hope you don't get the flooding.Delete
Impressive ... really puts the willies.ReplyDelete
It sure does.Delete
Yikes! We had some wind last night and lost our electricity for awhile. Today is beautiful, still a bit windy though.ReplyDelete
I'm the glad the wind there calmed down. It's no fun losing electricity. It's only when we do that I realize just how much I depend on it.Delete
I couldn't sleep for it blasting the rain against my window last night. It's bracing to say the least.ReplyDelete
It just about took the door off my car this morning. It's definitely bracing!Delete
And I thought the wind here was bad! Wow.ReplyDelete
I know! I'll take the wind here over the wind on that video any day.Delete
OMG. Scarey! The wind has been pretty bad here in Ohio, too.ReplyDelete
It's crazy, isn't it? I think I'll stay in the house the rest of the day.Delete
I think I'd poop my pants.ReplyDelete
Ha! I know I'd be terrified if that truck was in front of me.Delete
I pooped my pants watching it. Then again, I'm old. I kinda do that a lot.Delete
Wow that's insanity!! We've had crazy wind here for three days but it finally died down this afternoon.ReplyDelete
It seems a little quieter out there right now. We'll see what it's like when we walk to the bus stop in an hour.Delete
Glad the wind has died down where you are.
I'd hate to be anywhere near that truck too, Dana. It's pretty windy here (Mississippi). My daughter thought someone had broken into the house because the house shook. She had me walk through with a butcher knife to check. So much fun.ReplyDelete
That sounds like it would be a fun story to write! :)Delete
That truck driver behind him must have seen his life flash before his eyes.ReplyDelete
Pretty windy in Philly today. And that blows.
Finally we had some sunshine and "warm" weather here...I am such a sun lover- I was beginning to wonder if we would warm up!
Glad you're getting some nice weather. Care to send it our way? ;)Delete
Woah! That's crazy! It's been a little chilly out here, but for the most part, sunny and really nice. Man, I can't even imagine wind that bad.ReplyDelete
I try to stay off the freeways on days like that. I'm a chicken. :)Delete
I wonder what the driver behind him was thinking. Wow. We've got a lot of wind here, plus it's flat with not many trees. These are the times the wind really sucks. When it's zero or below. (-19 now--Think I want to stay inside.)ReplyDelete
I used to live in Western Nebraska, so I can appreciate those high winds cutting across the prairies. Yikes!Delete
I hope you can stay inside and warm today. :)
Eek! That video just makes you cringe! It has been unusually windy in NC to for the last few days.ReplyDelete
A lot of people from all over have been reporting high winds. I hope they calm down soon.Delete
Have a nice weekend!
