Had much to do. Did nothing.
My six words make me sound lazier than I'd like them to, but it was just that kind of week—the kind where despite all my best intentions, I just couldn't get moving on either of my writing projects, even though I'm really excited about them. The desire was there but not the motivation. I'm crossing my fingers for a more productive writing weekend.
How about you? Did you accomplish the things you wanted to accomplish this week?
Wishing you a happy and productive weekend. ☺
Sounds like a perfect day!
ReplyDeleteIt will be—if I can get that writing done. :)
DeleteHappy weekend, Stacie!
Baked a lot. Ate a lot!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a delicious week!
Deleteran around like crazy and did so much stuff but feel like I got nothing accomplished anyway...kind of like trying to keep the kitchen clean with a houseful of kids...haha!
ReplyDeleteI hear you. Most of my weeks are like that! :)
DeleteNot so much. LOL. Work and running kids around, my life story. House is in shambles but it is the last thing I want to conquer at this point. Going to gym this morning that will hopefully get me more motivated. It is so cold outside I just want to crawl back in bed and snuggle all day. Hope you get some writing done and enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteMy house is a mess too, and it's the last thing I want to worry about today. Have fun at the gym. I know how hard it is to find the motivation to go out on such a cold day. :)
Sounds any one of my days.
ReplyDeleteAt least we're not alone. :)
DeleteI got the flu, so not really.
ReplyDeleteOh, no. I hope you're feeling better soon.
DeleteHoping next week will be a good writing week for you Dana! I did accomplish pretty much everything I wanted to do this week; probably about 95% of it :)
ReplyDeletehappy weekend!
betty
Thanks, Betty—and congrats on getting so much done!
DeleteI think it was one of those weeks for lots of people!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to know I'm not alone. ;)
DeleteI didn't get as much accomplished as I would like, so I will be spending my weekend doing chores :)
ReplyDeleteFun, fun. :) I hope you have a great weekend!
DeleteI finished a sweater for my granddaughter and started a baby sweater. It was a good week! Hope yours is better.
ReplyDeleteThanks. :)
DeleteSounds like you accomplished a lot. Congrats!
Sometimes that is exactly the right thing to do!
ReplyDeleteI've been like that for the last 6 weeks, but this week I finally got going on my WIP again - phew!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm glad the writing is picking up for you. :)
DeleteI "do nothing" way too often! Ha! But then...I am retired!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday!
Linda
Nothing wrong with that! Happy Saturday to you as well. :)
DeleteHa! Sounds like my kids!
ReplyDeleteBest bet: Set No Goals....
ReplyDeleteHaha! You might be on to something.
DeleteIt shouldn't be a chore, Dana. When it comes, it comes. But it can be so frustrating when you've got up a head of steam and the mundane, boring things raise their ugly heads.
ReplyDeleteTrue, writing shouldn't be a chore. I'll find the motivation soon. :)
DeleteThe first thing I have to do, is do something first!
ReplyDeleteHaha! :D
DeleteThis is an awesome entry! A complete story in six words, I love it.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even come close to accomplishing what I needed/wanted to this week. If anyone is looking for a set for a disaster movie, my house is perfect for it! I'm hoping the long weekend will allow me to get a lot done. Good luck to you with your writing projects.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Danielle. Good luck to you, too.
Deleteoh I have weeks like that- seemingly a total lazybones, but then other weeks I am a hard charger. I look at those laid back times as me just recharging my batteries! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI like your way of looking at the lazy times. Happy weekend!
DeleteStill working to get things done. It will happen eventually. Sometime you just have to keep starting over.
ReplyDeleteThat's so true! Good luck with everything you're doing.
DeleteSounds like me most days! Ha ha. It is nice just to 'be ' sometimes. Love your header.
ReplyDeleteI like that. Sometimes it is nice just to "be." :)
DeleteAbout the header: Thanks! My friend Tara at Tara Tyler Talks made it.
Some weeks are like that for me as well. I think a lot - but never seem to get moving!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly how it was for me! I thought so much, but I didn't do. :)
DeleteNope, I didn't accomplish too much of anything. Sometimes, you just need that break, though. You'll be up and at it in no time, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteSometimes doing nothing is a requirement. Enjoy those days!
ReplyDeleteThanks. From now on, I think I will. :)
DeleteYes, I accomplished 2 things of my bucket list . . . passing the Pk-12 Media Specialist Exam and meeting a blogger buddy in real life:-) But I've had those lazy pj days, or weeks--we all need them from time to time!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Very cool!
DeleteOne needs those days. Mine usually happens on Thursday. :-)
ReplyDeleteI had seven of those days last week. I'm hoping that this week, I'll have only one. :)
DeleteHappens too often!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping that we both have productive weeks!
DeleteI missed reading blogs I love! My dad's been ill, so I've been out of the loop. I've missed writing too....but I did just sign up for the A-Z in April!
ReplyDeleteI've missed you!
DeleteI signed up for the A to Z as well. I already have another writing commitment that month, so I'm hoping I can manage both. Now to think of a theme...
